Bronze Sports Ambassadors
One of the main aims of the Dorset Leadership Academy is for Sports Leaders to promote sport and physical activity to other children in their school.
Our school’s Bronze Sports Ambassadors work together to lead activities during playtimes and lunchtimes. They encourage other children to find enjoyment in sport and physical activities and active playtimes. Through their role as Bronze Sports Ambassadors, our Sports Leaders develop many leadership skills including effective communication, negotiation, organisation and team work.
"I'm a Sport Ambassador at Lulworth and Winfrith CE Primary School. My role is to get kids more involved in sports.
Our school is great with sports. It takes every opportunity to interact with sporting events. We wouldn't be able to so this without our sports leader, Mrs Williams. She helps us and motivates us in sports.
I get a great deal from this. I get to see people improve and find their passions for sports.
